FRANCES ALTER I am interested in developing an emotive and lively response to landscapes , animal portraits and still life images rather than remaining “true to life”. Often my paintings only exist in my mind’s eye and rarely are a direct capture of a place or an object. The media I apply to my work ranges from inks, acrylics and oil paints to pastels and watercolours, as I love to explore the different expressive qualities of each. JO DIGGENS I am a painter living in the quiet seaside village of Pearl Beach. Inspired by our beautiful coastline and forests I paint landscapes in oils and acrylics on canvas. I also like to paint scenes and still lifes in my house: a corner of the kitchen with the afternoon sun slanting through the louvres or a fresh bunch of flowers from the garden will inspire me to paint what I see. RICHARD (renwaahart) WILLIAMS I started learning how to paint in early 2020 after a holiday to the US. Since then, I have created over 70 oil paintings in my Pearl Beach studio, often based on photos or collages of photos taken when out and about. Instagram renwaahart

CECILE FERGUSON I am a painter living in Pearl Beach NSW. I have been practicing art since 2013. I have been involved in organising the Pearl Beach Art Trail since its inception enjoying the involvement with the village art community. I like to paint in oils and acrylics and find inspiration in beach landscapes, wildflowers and still life. Im also very happy to take commissions. JENNIFER GORDON I am a Ceramic Artist who has been making pottery for more than 20 years, creating something with your hands can give you a deep sense of satisfaction My focus is on making functional items for everyday use. I use porcelain clay and fire in an electric kiln, using techniques such as throwing and hand building. MARGARET WESTCOTT I am a ceramicist and painter. I live in Pearl Beach a beautiful village on the edge of the National Park. I am inspired by the landscape and the sea. I also like to paint flowers in an expressive way. My ceramics are a canvas and I make both sculptural and functional forms. I enjoy being part of a very active art community. RACHEL SHEA Rachel Shea lives in Pearl Beach, and enjoys spending time in the shed producing sawdust. Sometimes she also makes touch toys, kitchenware, vases, boxes and bowls from sustainably sourced or recycled timber. MARIJKE GREENWAY Here in Pearl Beach we find inspiration on our doorstep. I see the beach, Lion Island, the trees in the Arboretum and on Mt. Ettalong and so that is what I paint - en plein air. I paint in all mediums and take my easel wherever I roam, painting is my passion and yes, I am prolific! To stay inspired we need the excitement of diversity and so I now have an additional workshop to create paintings with beeswax, known as encaustic, and so these will be also be shown on The Art Trail. SUE GIBSON My early life was spent way out in the bush in the beautiful Blue Mountains. Moving to Pearl Beach a few years ago, I am surrounded by bushland and the sea, which both are my inspiration and influence my mark manking in mixed media and my other passion photography. GABY PORTER I have been working professionally as a sculptor for 40 years in a variety of styles and materials, including ceramic, bronze, stone and mosaic. I am inspired by nature, and am driven by aesthetics. I have created a sculpture garden where sculpture and nature fuse. The garden keeps evolving as sculptures sell and new pieces are added. TEZ DOWER I'm a local artist who's inspired by the Australian impressionists. I am passionate about painting the light and atmosphere in my paintings.
